My massive list in my massive day planner is finally getting smaller and smaller. I have basically everything done but of course that doesn't mean my nerves are any calmer! Is anyone shocked to know I have but one lonely little suitcase that I'm bringing with!? Should be pretty interesting. I've already learned my lesson on packing though :).
We got our schedule from IES and looks like I have a vacation to look forward to in November and that's about it. There are a few field trips we have to pick from but I'm not sure which ones I'll pick yet. I'm hoping to go on the trip to Normandy because we do that right before Mom and Brian come over to visit me (so I can scope out all the sites). Other than that- I still have no idea what is going on once I get over there! We do a short intensive french session to catch us up and place us in the right language class (we do this before we start classes). Official start date of my school will be the 24th I believe. That seems really late to me. I'm not complaining though! More time to wander around the city :).
I hope everyone keeps me updated on what their up to so I don't feel so left out. I mean, we have class on Thanksgiving (Yes I know they don't celebrate it)- I already don't know what to do about that! haha.
Just a few more days of slave labor at the fair then it's "Au revoir Minnesota. Bonjour Paris!"
Ahh! ;)
Love from MN,

It sounds like you are set to go and excited about arriving in Paris. While you are in Paris don't miss doing some touristy things (Napoleon's tomb, of course the top of the Tour de Eiffle, walking around the Sorbonne area, and Le Metro out to Chateau de Vinncennes...)..have a great trip! Rick
